Calvert Trust - Kielder

The Calvert Trust who operate holidays at a number of centres in England and specialise in activity holidays for people with disabilities, are organising two activity weekends in 2012 for people with MS - both taking place at the Kielder, Northumberland. The activities range from archery and zipsliding and from abseiling to chess.

The first is for young people (under 35ish) living with MS, their friends, families and carers and will take place the weekend of 10th to 13th February. The second of the weekends is not dedicated to the younger element but is still available to people with MS, their families, friends and/or carers. It takes place from Friday 27 to Monday 30th April. The MS Society's Short Break and Activites fund may be able to meet some of the costs and to access this you can email the MS Scotland Grants Team on grantsscotland@mssociety.org.uk or phone them on 0131 335 4050. For information on costs and contact details, fliers for these events can be downloaded February weekend and April weekend here.
