Branch Conference - an Update

Branch Telephone
In line with the essential activities required by all MS Society branches, the branch will be launching its own unique telephone number from 1st November 2008. Each branch must have a single number for contact. This will be achieved by using a mobile phone - so you can text as well. The phone call/text will be answered by a member of the committee who has been trained to deal with support and information enquiries.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide Physiotherapy at the Drop In/ Complimentary Therapy Sessions at the Gateway. We are hoping that this service will be resumed soon, and there are still Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Reiki and Indian Head Massage available - as well as a cup of tea and a chat .Information Roadshow in Blairgowrie - 26th September
Our Information Roadshow at Blairgowrie was held on 26th September. Attendance was good although not as high as at previous events but successful as we got to meet people who are affected by MS locally who may not always be able to get in to Perth.
We are planning on going further afield next time - up to Pitlochry - and hope to meet more people affected by the condition there. We have a picture of those who attended the Blairgowrie event on our Photogallery page.

Wheelchair offer
A fine wheelchair has been donated to the branch and we want it to go to a "good home", somewhere where it will be appreciated and provide an extra degree of independence to the user.
