I was born outside Glasgow and after being brought up in Glasgow and Dunoon returned to Glasgow to study for a degree in Sociology. I have, over the years, worked largely in the leisure industry and since 1993 as an Internal Auditor.
In 2002, I took up the position of Internal Auditor with Perth & Kinross Council and moved to Perth. I was diagnosed with MS in 2003, but only slightly reduced my hours from full-time in 2008.
I was delighted to be elected to join the Committee in 2007 and have taken great joy and some pride in developing the website. When I'm not messing about with the website, I like reading, Soduku puzzles and visiting buildings of historical interest.
